Lots of people, lots of boats and lots of wind.
On Saturday, we had eight boats on the line with a pleasant wind at the start. As the races progressed the wind came up, and several skippers decided to drop out. Mark and Bo from the Laser Fleet had duty and chose to run all three races back to back, because it looked like it would continue to build.
Those on the line were Miles, Tom, Sandy, Frank, Burton, Luigi, Bob and Dave.
Frank won the first race, with Burton 2nd and Sandy third. Sandy won the 2nd race with Frank 2nd and Burton 3rd. In the last race, Sandy won and Burton was 2nd and Frank third.
Bradley, a friend of Miles, joined us for the day. We didn't have a Butterfly for him, so he used Chris's Laser. He is wanting to get back into sailing. He didn't race with us, but sailed around. He did very well. We will get him into a Butterfly next.
On the dock, but didn't race were Jackie, Megan, Bruce and Roger.
It was a beautiful day, but just a little too windy and gusty.
