J/24's in Corpus Christi … sun, wind, waves and chop … round ups, death rolls, knock downs, broaches, main and spinnaker rips and repairs, uncontrolled gybes, chicken gybes, man overboard, sunburns and bruises … you name it, we did it … even threw the Tacktick overboard … holy crap … that hurt! Three of us bunched up at the center of the boat donig various jobs and trying to keep the boat balanced going downwind had us looking like we were playing a game of twister. Fun stuff.

Doug came down to play in the waves on a Laser with a young rock star that had figured out how to make huge gains downwind. Doug learned how to hang with him by the end of the day but was doing a lot of groaning the following day.
