Peckover "Drifted" into a Second Place Finish at Nationals!

Twenty-six boats showed up for the 2010 Single-Handed National Championship at Union Reservoir in Colorado, and instead of brisk fall winds and comfortable temperatures, found August weather with 90 degree days (94 on Sunday) and just barely enough wind to squeeze out 3 races. The new champ is Scott Cameron, a Union sailor with roots as an M16 sailor in Wisconsin who remembers sailing against Jim Young in that boat two decades ago.
