Results First, second and fourth place went to former and current National Butterfly Champions, Paul, Doug and Ellen. This seems to be a trend. No doubt about it, former and present Butterflyers are just darn good sailors.
Doug bailed on Fly racing this weekend to do this circuit stop at WRBC and I took a "just me" weekend off. Doug called at the lunch break and was talking a mile a minute and was just plain jazzed. Paul Foerster had come out to sail and there simply is no substitute for world class, Olympic gold competition.
Doug was wearing his hat cam and caught some of the fun on video. Check out my YouTube Channel (Videos). I haven't had a chance to review and post everything yet since they had about 20 races and scored 19. CP Burks is a world class PRO with a motto of 'sail till they bleed.' According to Ellen, it isn't a good idea to ask him how many more races because he'll just start another one. What excellent practice.
