HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!!

April 2nd. You're no fool, that's for sure. While we have quite a few very helpful and totally awesome fleet members that make being a part of the Butterfly fleet an absolute honor, you, Tom, are very dear to many. A few of us wanted to wish you a happy birthday today and tell you how much we appreciate you.

Let me start by saying, as this year's fleet captain following in your footsteps ... man you've some big shoes!

Thank you for everything you've done for me. Like I keep telling you, nobody takes better care of me than you! You know those rollers you carried around in your car for a year for me ... well they work ... really well ... my boat comes up on the dock super fast and then rolls right back into the lake with a little extra momentum ... and me attached to the bow! So here's what "we're" gonna do ...

Catherine H.: As one of the women Butterflier's I want to thank Tom for his persistence and patience with our 08' - Women's Racing Training Evening Classes. We all know that he promised us Brad Pitt to attend but to have only Tom Charland’s smiling face and great support was far better than Brad Pitt!

Susan: Dear Tom… I would still be in the lake if you were not the gentleman that you are…. All of my butterfly memories have you in them!

Megan: HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS! I join with the rest of the thousands of women in your harem in wishing you the very best birthday ever! If it wasn't for you, I would not have become a member of the fleet and the club--and look where I am now! (so all the rest of you now know who to blame! hah!) But seriously folks, THANK YOU for being so helpful to all of us Tom! YOU ROCK! Happy Birthday Buffy!

Marsha: Dear Tom, Learning to sail under your tutelage last year was a life-changing opportunity, like learning to drive, but far more pleasant, with precious memories of golden sunsets and soft breezes.

Thank you for going above and beyond again and again to make me feel comfortable, supported, safe, and welcome.
