LIVING IN PARADISE

As some of you may have heard, Doug has taken a coaching position at the Laser Training Center in Cabarete.  That’s in the Dominican Republic!  This is about as close to a utopian retirement as a guy like Doug could ever hope for.  You should have seen the bags he packed ... flip flops, sunglasses, shorts, t-shirts and sailing gear.  No shoes, pants, coat, or ... reality.  Everyday brings a new discovery for him that makes him ask, ‘could things get any better than this?’ ... and then they do. 

So, while Doug is on this wonderful adventure, getting to sail and coach everyday and train with the top sailors in the world, he’ll be keeping us posted as he gets to know this tropical place.  Thanks to Skype and Google all calls, video conferencing, etc. are completely free and unlimited.  And since his daily focus is sailing, sailing and nothing but sailing, if you have any questions about sailing, just shoot him an email or post a comment on his posts and I’m sure he’ll be very responsive.  After all, he’s rather partial to this incredible Butterfly fleet.
