Six Butterfly sailors came out to test the light air and we were rewarded with a beautiful, warm, fall day with sporadic wind from every direction.  That said we did keep the boats moving for the most part, sailing two races: W-2 and then a shorter W-1 1/2.

Thanks to race committee Bowman and Cameron.  Those courses were the best that they could be considering the wind direction kept changing and we definitely appreciated the shortened course (twice) in the 2nd race.

Bruce took two bullets, Miles a 2nd, Larry a 3rd, and me a 3rd then a 2nd.

I'm sure in a few weeks the wind will be howling and we'll be wishing for lighter air but at the moment, I say bring on cooler weather and more wind, please!
